DataCompute Base Advisory is an independent practice that examines the financial evidence in applications for e-wallet and e-money services. We work from 49, Bandar Baru Jaya Gadi, 26070 Kuantan, Pahang, and we take files from applicants and advisors anywhere in Malaysia.
The practice exists because application packs are often assembled by people who know the product and the legal chapters, and who then need someone who will sit with the numbers as an examiner would. We are not a licence mill, a software vendor, or a statutory audit firm taking on the company’s year-end accounts. We are the people who test whether the financial chapters will survive a dull, hostile reading.
Days are spent in workbooks, bank letters, wallet extracts, and the awkward join between a commercial forecast and a safeguarding mandate. When the join holds, we say so in writing. When it does not, we say what has to change before lodgement — and we stop there. We do not “package” a file to look finished.

Three practitioners. Engagements are staffed by the person closest to the problem, not by a rotating junior bench.
Aisha Rahman
Practice lead, application examinations
Aisha directs the financial examination of e-wallet application files. She previously spent a decade in assurance and transaction support for payment and retail groups in Peninsular Malaysia, and now spends most of her week in working papers rather than in pitches.
Daniel Tan
Safeguarding and settlement
Daniel tests designated accounts, merchant payout cycles, and the cut-off between customer liabilities and bank balances. He came to the practice from a Kuantan finance team that ran stored-value operations for a regional merchant network.
Priya Nair
Forecasts and capital bridges
Priya examines volume models, paid-in capital, and the use-of-proceeds story that sits behind an application. She insists that every material assumption can be explained without a second spreadsheet open.
Who we take on
First-time applicants for an e-wallet or e-money service; existing issuers adding a stored-value product; finance leads inside a group that is lodging on behalf of a subsidiary; submitting advisors who want the financial chapters examined before the pack leaves their office.
We decline files that need a statutory auditor’s opinion on historical financial statements, or that are really a request to invent a commercial model. We examine evidence. We do not invent it.

The office is used for working-paper review and for meetings with finance leads who can travel to Kuantan. Most opening conversations are by telephone or video; fieldwork on live ledgers is often remote once access is granted.
