Cookie notice

This page explains what datacomputebase.digital stores in your browser. The banner on first visit lets you accept or reject optional storage. Rejecting does not block reading the site, sending an enquiry, or telephoning the practice.

Preference record

When you choose Accept or Reject, we store that choice in localStorage under the key datacomputebase_cookie_consent. The value is either accepted or rejected. It exists so the banner does not return on every page load. It is not an advertising identifier.

If you accept

We may then use a small audience-measurement cookie to understand which public pages are read. We do not run remarketing, cross-site tracking, or scarcity widgets. If measurement is not configured on a given host, accepting still only records your preference.

If you reject

We keep only the preference record so we know not to show the banner again. No measurement cookie is set. The site, including the enquiry form, continues to work.

Necessary operation

The site is static HTML, CSS, and a small script for the menu, the banner, and form checks. Those scripts run in your browser. They do not require a cookie to function, other than the preference record described above if you interact with the banner.

Third parties

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash. Those services may receive your IP address as part of an ordinary request. They are not set by our banner and are not something we can switch off per visitor without breaking layout and pictures.

How to change your mind

Clear site data for datacomputebase.digital in your browser, or delete the datacomputebase_cookie_consent key. The banner will appear again. You can also write to engagements@datacomputebase.digital.
